Macchina che “calza” intorno all'imballaggio un tubolare ("sleeve") di materiale termoretraibile e ne provoca la retrazione mediante un flusso di aria calda (shrink sleever); oppure un tubolare di materiale elastico che aderisce alla superficie da decorare senza ausilio di colla o calore (stretch sleever). Entrambi i sistemi vengono utilizzati a fini decorativi, protettivi e come sistema anti-effrazione soprattutto per bottiglie e flaconi; rende possibile la decorazione a 360°.
Machines that draw a tube (sleeve) of thermoplastic material over a rigid container and heat shrink it by means of hot air (shrink sleever) to fit the shape of the container; another technology uses stretch material that closely fits to the contours of the rigid container without using glue or heat (stretch sleever). Both technologies are used for decorating, protecting bottles and containers; they provide 360° decoration.
