Packaging machine that assemble a layer of products, groups of packages or rigid containers (trays, cases, cartons, bundles, cans, etc.) according to a specific layout and transfer it onto the pallet, in order to secure the load during transportation. According to their operation system, palletisers can be divided into robot palletisers and level palletisers. Robot palletisers offer high flexibility, whereas level palletisers are appreciated for their accuracy and speed. To complete their functions, palletisers are usually connected to ancillary machinery. Among them, there are: empty pallet handling unit; dispensers of different types of load protections (slip-sheets, hoods, corner or side pads); pallet coding/marking systems (with digital or analog attachments).
