German confectionery brand, Cool, has chosen NatureFlex™ compostable cellulose films to package their product Ӧcoologisch Herz Lolli lollipops, which are individually wrapped in single-ply NatureFlex with the outer bag in a NatureFlex / biofilm laminate.

NatureFlex™ renewable films are made from wood pulp sourced from responsibly and sustainably managed plantations. They meet the global standards for industrial composting (including EN13432), and TŰV Austria’s OK Compost Home standard for backyard composting, which means they divert waste from landfill and contribute to the circular economy.

André Richter at Cool: “We were looking for an ‘environmentally friendly’ variant of this type of packaging and found a suitable price-performance ratio at NatureFlex. Good quality, stability and hold are important.” He added, “We have found the machine performance to be good and in no way inferior to other conventional films.”
