tesa has developed a new range of seven sustainable paper and film packaging tapes, promoting a campaign, entitled “Makes sense”, to stimulate environmental awareness of customers and consumers.
We offer retailers and industrial end users more sustainable options for their packaging, in support of their sustainability goals. All tapes that are part of the campaign demonstrate how packaging can be greener in the future,” says Andreas Walkembach, Head of Industrial Trade & Converting Europe at tesa.
All products are made in a solvent-free coating process and have a recycled paper core. The tapes have undergone a series of dynamic drop tests from different heights using single and double corrugated boxes to ensure the protective performance and primary purpose of the packaging. At the "end of life", customers will no longer have to separate the new, more sustainable paper packaging tapes from the cardboard, but rather confer them together without compromising the recycling process.
Five paper tapes support a wide range of applications, both manual and automatic and ensure not only a reliable closure for different weight categories, but also different colors and printability for brand presentation.
